Wool is a versatile natural fiber that comes in a broad variety of weights, weaves and patterns. We love the look of wool and for many climates it is wearable for nine months of the year. We carry a broad assortment of wool meltons that are perfect for unlined jackets and coats. You don't have to be a tailoring expert to make a gorgeous unlined wool jacket. Several of our favorite jacket patterns are featured in wool meltons on our gallery. We especially love to keep several tropical weight wools in stock as they are easy to wear and maintain. Wool is one natural fiber that is not easily wrinkled.
Many of our wools come from the designer markets and are offered in limited quantities. We start bringing in new wools in June so if you are one of those people who plan ahead you can start watching for the latest arrivals even when it is 90 degrees outside.
Wool blends come in many combinations. Wool blends are a super way to have the best of all worlds in lighter fabrics. We often find wools blended with silks, rayons and even cottons. Of course some of our favorite wool blends are those that are blended with luxury fabrics like cashmere.
