Rouleau refers to bias tape, ribbon, braid, bias tube or a fabric trim that is pliable enough to shape in the form of tight curves for the purpose of creating decorative laces, insets, appliqués, and garment closures. Rouleau may also be used as a technique to cover raw edges of fabric in a crazy patchwork design.
