D'Leas jacket is a stylized short jacket with old fashioned dressmaker details. Chic is a great word to call this asymmetrical closure and softly detailed back. D'Leas jacket is a courture jacket that can go to the office or to a cocktail party, depending on your choice of fabric.

Fabric Suggestions: Wool crepe, wool double knit, raw silk, tussah, matka, dupioni, tencel, damask, soft linens. Fabrics that are soft enough to gather but stable to hold shape. Consider underlining wool jersey, sandwashed rayons, challis, to achieve intended shaping.

Notions: Interfacing 1 1/2 yds 22 in wide, 7/8 yd 36 in wide, Lining: optional and recommeded for lighweight fabrics. 45 in 2 1/8 yds for total lining, 1 1/2 yds if sleeves unlined; 2 lg buttons for front, 8 sm for wrist. Shoulder pads, snaps.See image below.
